Sri. K.S. Balakrishnan has mastered the art of carnatic music from his Gurus Sri Chenganuur Balamuralikrishna, Sri Venmani Sukumaran, Violin Maestro, Sangeetha Kalanidhi Dr M.Chandrasekharan and Sri Rajkumar Bharathi. Balakrishnan is also well versed in Nattuvangam and is prolific composer for dance ballets. He has sung and performed Nattuvangam with Indian dance legends like Smt Krishnaveni Lakshman,Smt Malavika Sarukkai, Smt Priyadharshini Govind, Smt Chitra Visweshwaran, Smt Leela Samson, Smt Gopika Verma and many more leading dancers.

MALAVIKA FINE ARTS is found by K.S. Balkrishnan, reknowed Carnatic Vocalist & Nattuvanar and Music Composer. Performing both as Nattuvanar as well as singer in dance programmes, his unique quality which is rare among the singers he learnt carnatic music from eminent gurus right from his early childhood.

With 25 year of vast experience in the classical dance field, he excells handling Nattuvangam Classes, higher level practical classes from many professional Bharatha Natyal & Classical dancers.

Also provides vocal support and music composition for Mohiniyattam, Kutchipudi style dances.Travelled many more countries to conduct workshops in Nattuvangam and to compose music and Bharathanatyam dance Choreography,

Sri. K.S Balakrishnan has over 25 odd years of professional experience as a Carnatic vocalist, Nattuvannar (Cymbal percussionist for Indian Classical Dance) and prolific music composer for South Indian Classical Dances. Balakrishnan has also received awards for his contribution towards music in Indian Classical Dance as well as for providing vocal support for dance.
